PRODIEL Peru joins the “Recycle me, play your part” campaign

PRODIEL Peru has joined the “Recycle me, play your part” (“Recíclame, cumple tu papel”) campaign launched by the NGO SOS Children’s Villages, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of recycling paper.

Two tonnes of recycled paper mean that 6 children from Children’s Villages can be fed for one month.

The fundamental aim of Children’s Villages, which has been working with abandoned boys and girls for 39 years, is to meet the needs of these children and assure that they have the opportunity to enjoy a happy childhood.

PRODIEL has made a commitment to run a paper recycling campaign in its installations, in addition to raising awareness among its collaborators about the rational use of paper as a resource.

One tonne of recycled paper prevents the felling of 15 trees, saves 39 litres of water and avoids 3.5 kg of Co2 emissions into the atmosphere.
