AguasEcologíaEmpresaProdiel has become one of the founding members of Colombia’s Renewable Energy Association (SER Colombia). Andrés Garrido, Chief Executive of Prodiel in Colombia, is serving as the secretary of the new organisation, while the presidency and vice-presidency are held by Enel Green Power Colombia and Siemens, respectively. This association will bring together the country’s main electric power companies with non-conventional, renewable sources. Prodiel’s participation in this organisation will enable it to establish significant business relationships with member companies and strengthens its position as a benchmark in Columbia’s renewable energies industry. The new association aims to merge the efforts of all its members to facilitate relations with public administrations and private businesses, both in Colombia and in the rest of the Caribbean region. It will also be a platform to integrate knowledge and experience and to promote actions to drive growth and boost the positioning of the sector. The founding members of SER Colombia are Enel Green Power Colombia (Presidency), Siemens S.A. (Vice-Presidency), Prodiel (Secretariat), Antea Group, General Electric, Sun Edison, Vepica, Esteyco Colombia, Grupo Renovatio, Hybrytec, Ferrostaal de Colombia S.A.S., Ingenostrum, InterPacífico Consultores, Asocaña, Vestas, Green Caribbean, Consultoría Colombiana S.A., Acciona, Promoenergía, Aerco, Star Energy, Green Yellow and BNB Renewable Energy Holdings.
