DESCRIPTION The Pima Solar photovoltaic project is located near the city of Caborca in the state of Sonora, northwest Mexico. It has installed capacity of 144 MW and it can generate over 293 GWh a year, equivalent to the annual consumption needs of 147,000 homes, thereby avoiding the discharge into the atmosphere of more than 195,000 tonnes of CO2 a year.
