DESCRIPTION

The plant is located in Bom Jesus da Lapa, in the Brazilian state of Bahia and, once completed, it will have installed capacity of 158 megawatts (MW) and it will be capable of generating around 340 gigawatt-hours (GWh) a year, sufficient to meet the annual power consumption needs of over 160,000 Brazilian homes.

The project consists of two blocks, an 80-megawatt block in Bom Jesus da Lapa and a 78-megawatt block in Lapa.
