DESCRIPTION

The Finis Terrae photovoltaic plant is located in the commune of María Elena, in the Antofagasta region, some 1,300 km north of Santiago.

It has installed capacity of 160 MW and can generate over 400 GWh a year (equivalent to the annual consumption needs of around 198,000 homes) thus avoiding the emission of 198,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere every year.
