Maintaining distribution networks is a preventive and/or corrective maintenance service at distribution installations, and cutting and re-stocking business operations.
The service ranges from auditing the existing installations, to preventive maintenance to corrective maintenance.
This consists of an urgent response to any breakdowns or failures that may occur at the installations, with the aim of getting them functioning again as soon as possible. To carry out this work, PRODIEL has a highly qualified team consisting of engineers with knowledge of maintenance and operations in the gas sector and workers with years of experience in the field in this type of maintenance. Both the workers in the field and the company’s technicians are constantly undergoing training, with the aim of enabling all the workers to be, at all times, familiar with the new technology that is being introduced and perform work that is as perfect as possible.
This process is associated with a series of pipe installations and a series of infrastructures, in which PRODIEL is a specialist, undertaking projects involving largest investments, both nationally and internationally.
PRODIEL contributes to continuity of supply, suitable pressure, sufficient flow and minimisation of water leaks. It has its own personnel for maintaining the network and monitoring flow, pressure, free chlorine and many other parameters remotely by using remote control systems.

In 2010 PRODIEL set up a department for urban and interurban fibre optic network lines through latest generation technologies. That department includes engineering and construction and subsequent maintenance. As part of the work to install this type of technologies, PRODIEL covers the execution and monitoring of the construction work (channels, utility boxes, cameras, posts, premises, etc.) as well as the installation and activation of the fibre optic transmission equipment.
